How it all began
Our story began with the desire to combine hospitality with quality, reliability and personal service. With our apartments in Vienna, we have spent many years creating a place where people can not only stay overnight, but really feel at home for a while. It has always been important to us that professionalism and cordiality are not mutually exclusive, but that together they make the difference.
Grown from practice
What makes The Ranks what it is today was not created on the drawing board, but from real day-to-day work. Through our daily work with guests, many conversations, challenges and developments, we have gradually become more than just an apartment business. We have seen how important sustainable solutions, clear structures and a conscious use of resources are. This experience has broadened our perspective.
Why sustainability is an issue for us
Sustainability has never been a buzzword for us, but a question of attitude. We didn’t just want to talk about it, we wanted to put it into practice in our own company. This is precisely where our strong connection to sustainable tourism, responsible business practices and solutions that make sense in the long term came from. This experience has shaped our work to this day and is also the basis on which we support others in these areas.
From your own business to consulting
Over time, it became clear that our experience was also valuable beyond our own company. This is how The Ranks has evolved. Today, we also advise others, primarily SMEs, but also educational institutions and organizations, in the areas of sustainability, eco-labels and strategic development. It is important to us not only to deliver concepts, but also solutions that can actually be implemented in everyday life.
International cooperation as the next step
Another important part of our development was our entry into Erasmus+ and international project work. This has resulted in an area in which we can combine our experience in tourism, organization, education and sustainable development. We accompany projects, support the development of ideas and create connections between people, organizations and countries. For us, this is a logical extension of what has long been important to us: exchange, learning and development with real added value.
What The Ranks is all about today
Today, The Ranks combines several areas that may seem different at first glance, but which in essence fit together very well. Our apartments in Vienna and Cyprus, our work in the field of sustainability, our advice on the Ecolabel, our workshops and our Erasmus+ activities all follow the same idea. We want to create spaces in which development is possible. For guests, for companies, for organizations and for new joint projects.
And our story continues
Our story is not finished. It evolves with every project, every collaboration and every new idea. This is exactly what makes The Ranks special. We keep moving, continue to develop and build on what was important to us from the very beginning: working personally, thinking sustainably and building things with substance.
